Lot's happening,,,So much to say and do,,,

Happy to be making music,,,

Been making some classical backing tracks with a rock feel

for my friend Costa Arvanitis,,,

Costa Still Got The Blues

He's playing some nice stuff,,,

So I'm close to finishing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata [1st movement],,,

for Costa to play the lead,,,Maybe I'll post it on this site one day,,,!!!

Been playing around with a couple of songs of mine,,,trying to get

the guitar part sounding good,,,many hours to do that,,,!!!

Trying to get it together to record the next Album,,,

Need to put a lot of energy in to do that,,,

So I'm waking up at 5 am to do some Hun Yuan Sitting & Standing Meditation,,,

Plus going outside 'round 6 am to do Hun Yuan Foundation Exercises and

Tai Chi,,,

Finishing up with Dr Al Sears PACE exercises brings me back home 'round 8 am,,,

An hour to make and take breakfast and wash the dishes,,,And I'm ready once

again to go outside and sip and drink a cup of tea for 20 minutes,,,

Then I do another 5 to 10 minutes of Standing Meditation,,,

So now I'm at my computer to check my emails,,,

Costa sends me one to say he wants to do a Brower classical piece

with a rock feel that "sounds good in (his) head",,,

looking forward to that,,,

Well I better get back to practice and recording,,,

So it's research,,,try it,,,see what happens,,,

Mum's 90th Birthday coming up on the 21st,,,

We plan to do a few songs,,,

War time favorite,,,'We'll meet Again' [Arleen's going to sing lead],,, and

'What The World Needs Now',,,[Sherine's gonna lead us there],,,

So I've been practicing those songs,,,It should be good,,,

Been working on an arrangement for Guitarist Costa Arvanitis,,,

It's the Stanley Myers piece called 'Cavatina',,,

The arrangement has Bass & Drums with a Synth doing the arpeggios,,,

Costa will simply play the melody his electric guitar,,, he's currently working on

learning that melody,,,

Costa's been working around Melbourne and should get a lot of mileage from this

backing track arrangement,,,

On Wed evening Costa and I finished his demo CD.

It contained six well known pieces: 'Black Magic Woman',

'Europa' and 'Moonflower' by Carlos Santana, 'Smoke on the Water' and

'Black Night' by Deep Purple, and, the classic 'Still Got The Blues'

by Gary Moore.

I think I can say that we were both happy with the result.

Costa played like I'd never heard him play before!

I just hope he gets his own website soon so we can all

listen to his guitar solos.

He's bound to get more work around town with this demo CD.

I hope to do more sessions with him in the future.

So I'm starting to think about the next project with Costa.

The Classical Swing Project. It'll take months to do. I'll enjoy it. I know.

That's all for now as we go into the Great Winter Time in the  South Hemisphere.

Although you'd never know that Winter's coming with such a warm day as it is today. Birds are tweeting nice and loud, a gentle breeze and a nice stillness.
